New Series ~ Release & Renew

4-week series starts Thursday February 2nd

4:00 pm - 5:00 pm with Liz

A slow flow hatha yoga class focusing on deeply stretching the muscles and releasing the tension from the day. Melt away your stress and nurture your soul with this new series. Progress in your yoga practice doesn't always occur by "doing". An equally important aspect of yoga practice is the ability to let go, to not control, to experience what is without interfering. Recharge your energy reserves and heal the effects of stress, bringing about conscious relaxation.  Beneficial for all levels of practice and experience.

4-Week Kids Yoga Series with Raquel

Monday February 6, 13, 20, & 27

4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Recommended for ages 9 - 12

Yoga helps kids get in touch with their bodies, strengthen and relax their muscles, and develop coordination, focus, and confidence. We will practice imaginative kid-style asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing) in a playful, supportive, and safe environment.

Stress Reduction Acupuncture

 NEXT WORKSHOP

SUNDAY APRIL 22ND

Would you like to try something different to reduce stress?

Join us for auricular (ear) acupuncture with Rachel Weiss licensed acupuncturist, using the NADA protocol, a well known form of acupuncture used all over the world.

The ear is a micro system of the body, and by needling certain points in the ear, results can be felt throughout the physical body, as well as the mind.

The NADA protocol works by calming the central nervous system, and releasing endorphins. This technique reduces stress in the following ways:

• Alleviates anxiety• Relieves nervous tension• Decreases heart rate • Lowers blood pressure• Increases energy• Improves sleep

The session will be done in a serene group setting and include auricular acupuncture, relaxing music, candles & aromatherapy. Bring your yoga mat!

You may find more information about Rachel Weiss and her acupuncture practice here.
